Los Angeles, CA – May 20, 2011 – On Tuesday night, music sensation Pitbull gave millions of primetime viewers a taste of what he has in store with his upcoming album Planet Pit and his fall tour with Enrique Iglesias. Pitbull, backed by R&B crooner Ne-Yo, delivered an explosive performance of the album’s second single “Give Me Everything” on ABC’s hit series “Dancing with the Stars.” Pitbull returns to primetime Sunday night, where he’ll once again perform the smash single during the 2011 “Billboard Music Awards.”

“Give Me Everything” can be heard pulsing in dance clubs everywhere as the song quickly climbs the Billboard Hot 100, Rhythm and Pop charts. The smash single is well on its way to the top, currently at #2 on the U.S. iTunes chart and in the top 10 in 15 countries. On pace to become one of Pitbull’s biggest hits ever, the infectious anthem will be featured on Planet Pit, Pitbull’s sixth studio album, which will be released June 21.

These primetime shows are the first of many high-profile television appearances Pitbull has scheduled to promote the album and tour: Today Show Toyota Summer Concert Series, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Lopez Tonight and Conan.

Later this year, Pitbull will unleash the power of his fierce rhymes, sizzling hooks and live band during aU.S. arena tour with Enrique Iglesias, which features special guest Prince Royce. Starting September 22 inBoston, the tour will visit nearly 20 cities before culminating on October 22 inMiami for a triumphant homecoming show for Pitbull.

“It will be an empowering experience that will give us a chance to show the world how music can unite us all,” Pitbull says. “More than anything, we’re going to have fun. Ya tu sabe representar. Dale!”

With the upcoming tour, Pitbull is certain to get arenas rocking with performances of his multi-platinum smash hits like “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho),” “Hotel Room Service” and “Hey Baby (Drop It On The Floor).” The concerts will also be an opportunity for Pitbull to bring the new songs from Planet Pit to life. To create its one-of-a-kind sound, the album fuses Pit’s rapid-fire rhymes and billion-dollar beats with appearances from pop music luminaries Marc Anthony, Enrique Iglesias, Chris Brown, Kelly Rowland and top producers Dr. Luke, David Guetta, Max Martin and Afrojack.

The album and tour represent a highwater mark for Pitbull, whose profile has steadily risen since his gold-certified debut M.I.A.M.I. in 2004.
