(New York, NY) – September 28, 2011 – Platinum-selling singer, songwriter and musician Gavin DeGraw celebrates his 2nd Top 10 album debut this week with SWEETER, entering the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart at #8, and #5 on the Digital Albums Chart. The album’s first single, “Not Over You,” coined “a soulful majestic ballad” by Entertainment Weekly debuted most added at the Hot AC format with People Magazine declaring the “hot single” as DeGraw’s “welcome return” to the airwaves. “Not Over You” continues to climb the radio charts.

DeGraw’s highly anticipated fourth album SWEETER, which US Weekly calls “delectable,” released September 20th on RCA Records. Rolling Stone raves, “The 10 songs on Sweeter are taut, efficient and hook-packed, with guitars bolstering the big choruses. DeGraw is an excellent singer, with a hint of grit in his tenor that tips power ballads like ‘Soldier’ toward soul music.”

DeGraw kicked off his television promotion on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno with a performance of “Not Over You.” During release week, DeGraw performed on The Today Show, Live! with Regis and Kelly, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, FOX & Friends , VH1 Top 20 Countdown and VEVO’s first ever live edition of Ask: Reply, along with features and performances on AOL Sessions, NPR’s Weekend Edition, Livestream, Yahoo! DeGraw first broke through with the 2003 release of his debut album, Chariot, which sold more than 1 million copies, earned platinum certification and yielded three hit singles: “I Don’t Want To Be,” “Follow Through” and the title-track, “Chariot.” DeGraw’s self-titled second album debuted at No. 1 on the digital sales chart and at No. 7 on Billboard’s Top 200 album chart in 2008, earning DeGraw his first Top 10 album.
